Use this checklist when a door, padlock, key color or lever blocks your The Locust's Manor run. The Manor route is separated from update-map requirements.
Quick answer
If you are blocked by a locked door, assume one of four things happened: you missed a key in a side room, you are carrying the wrong key for that lock, a lever changed the path behind you, or the map uses a different requirement than the main Manor route.
Main Manor key route
For the Manor route, keep notes around the player-reported pattern of 5 colored keys + 2 levers. Write it as a Manor route record, not a universal rule for every map. A clean pass should record each key color, the room where it was found, the door it opened, and whether a lever became available afterward.
Search order
- Clear the starting room and adjacent side rooms.
- Check furniture edges, corners, low shelves and floor-level objects.
- Return to the last locked door after every pickup.
- Pull visible levers only after noting which door or hallway changed.
- If a key seems absent, leave the area and re-enter only after checking whether the map can softlock.

Common mistakes
- Treating the first visible locked door as the next required door.
- Leaving a room before checking behind furniture or around the exit frame.
- Pulling a lever without watching what changed.
- Copying a key count from another map into the current run.
- Spending a revive early when the blocker is only route confusion.
